The PowerPal T1 and T2 Turgo Series is another simple system consisting
of a turbine with generator attached. Generator power output is from 660W
to 2.0kW depending on head and flow.
|
|
|
The T1 has twin nozzles and is fitted with a 1kW capacity generator as pictured
above. All or part of the stream flow is diverted through a 12cm diameter steel penstock pipe and down
to the turbine. Output voltage and frequency are controlled by our electronic
load controller (with ballast).

The T2 is a single nozzle turgo turbine fitted with a 2kW capacity generator and comes in three quite distinct models
(1) a T2/ 1.5kW model
(2) a T2/ 2kW model for medium head sites,
(3) another T2/2kW High Head model for higher
head sites
